Water With Water (W/W/W)

Water With Water is an experimental publishing and visual research practice of Nathan Ross Davis and Sarah Elawad. Water with Water’s work is a funky international mix of historical, vernacular, contemporary, and personal cultural references with dynamic visuals in the form of unique printed books, ephemera, merchandise, and apparel.

W/W/W is a platform for the ongoing exploration of graphics-based visual research and dissemination in the context of artist book publishing. W/W/W aims to produce high-quality graphic work locally (Doha), inspire and support creative production in Doha and other emerging creative communities, build creative capacity in the VCUQatar alumni and student network, and model leadership by doing/making while destabilizing various cultural assumptions. W/W/W’s activities increase the visibility, reputation, and impact of VCU School of the Arts Qatar and Qatar Foundation in the context of artist book publishing and independent design publishing communities internationally.
