During her four years at VCUarts Qatar Latifa was an active member of the Graphic Design Chair Advisory Committee, where she advocated for inclusion and cultural awareness and sensitivity, she was an essential research assistant for the (IN)>Tangible Lab and the xLab, the head of the Arabic Literature Club, and she received the HEC Paris Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Latifa excels at bridging culture and entrepreneurship through deep design research. Her BFA was awarded Most Impactful by the GDES BFA Guest Designer / Curator. Her goal as a designer is to emphasize the intersections of design within different fields. She sees design as a field that addresses thought and feeling, intersecting with various disciplines, and contributing to solving problems and producing outputs that drive culture. Latifa was a recipient of the 2023 Al Ihsan award.
