Taqiyim

TAQIYIM (Curatorial Research Lab) is a practice-led research platform exploring curating as a mode of inquiry, care, and knowledge production. Operating at the intersection of design, art, and critical spatial practice, the lab investigates alternative curatorial formats that move beyond exhibition-making to engage with situated, embodied, and collective forms of research.

Through experimental assemblies, publications, and pedagogical initiatives, TAQIYIM brings together artists, curators, scholars, and local communities to address contemporary cultural and political questions, with a particular focus on Qatar and the wider region. The lab emphasizes collaboration, hospitality, and cross-disciplinary exchange as methods for generating new forms of discourse and public engagement.
